Hey North Carolina,
As the world turns, so does the fight for justice in the battle to have votes counted in the State Supreme Court race. You may have read that late on Tuesday, a federal appeals court blocked North Carolina from beginning ballot curing as part of Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin’s effort to overturn the results of the state’s 2024 Supreme Court race. Justice Allison Riggs had asked that the cure process be put on hold, and she prevailed.
So the fight will continue and there are several actions still pending in district, state and federal court on both sides of this matter. Confused? Well I can’t blame you! That’s why I encourage you to join NC Dems for an update and organizing call Friday, April 25, from 5:30 - 6:30pm ET.
Keep fighting NC!

Given the decision by the fourth circuit Federal court, ballot curing is now on pause. I believe that this event is still happening, but it’s unclear what will come out of it depending on final court decisions.
