1. Please join Alliance For Justice on Thursday, May 9 at 2 PM ET for Gavel In: Democracy on the Docket in North Carolina.

   This event will feature North Carolina Supreme Court Justices Anita Earls and Allison Riggs, and be moderated by Zachery Morris, AFJ Action’s Legal Director of State Courts. Join them for a discussion about the increasing importance of state supreme courts across the country when it comes to protecting democracy and our fundamental rights and freedoms.

2. Postcards to Swing States has begun sign-ups for their postcard program for November! They’ll mail you FREE postcards along with voter lists and instructions with proven message options. You’ll need to provide the stamps and mail the postcards to voters in October. Their goal is 25.8 million postcards to boost Democratic turnout across 11 states—including North Carolina!
