Hi, Team NC!
First, the amazing folks at Women For Stein are looking for volunteers! They are organizing into different tactical groups so that they can build a strong movement to help elect Josh Stein as North Carolina’s Governor. They say they aim to win, and I believe them.
Their goal is to contact 500,000 voters. They aim to recruit at least 1,500 active volunteers to help them achieve their goal. And they need your help.Â
Please take 4 minutes to complete their volunteer interest survey, and tell them if you can help.
You are welcome to join as many teams as you like.Â
Going forward, they’ll send you more targeted emails about the topics and volunteer opportunities you care about the most.
Next, Airlift is having a meet and greet/fundraiser with Anderson Clayton next week! If you haven’t heard from her yet you must! She’s incredible!
Join Airlift at an event focusing on turning North Carolina from purple to blue!
There's lots of buzz about North Carolina for the 2024 elections. Come hear why as Airlift presents "North Carolina: Turning Purple to Blue," featuring the dynamic new NC Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton, at 26 the youngest Democratic party chair ever. We'll also hear from Airlift Partners Down Home NC and Carolina Federation about how we can help keep the governorship Blue, break the GOP supermajority in the state legislature, and add North Carolina's electoral votes to keep Joe Biden in the White House.
Join us online, Thursday, May 23, 5:00 PT / 8:00 ET by signing up here.
Alright, y’all. More soon. We’re going to do this. We can, we must, and we will.
Jess
Done & done! Thanks Jess for all you do everywhere!
Thanks Jess for inviting us to this event. I had been following Down Home NC for a while but had never heard of the Carolina Federation. After the event I put both of them on a monthly payment. One way these organizations can be more effective in generating interest is they are not projects of the Democratic Party, which has been doing great work under Anderson Clayton, but also there are a lot of folks, especially in rural parts, who feel alienated from the party itself yet want very much to see change. So great work!
