Hi, Team NC!

Two quick things:

First, I have some packets of postcards into Mecklenburg County that need to be written fairly soon. They’re from Swing Blue Alliance and they’re for a City Council race happening there. They need to be mailed ON the 14th of October exactly. I’ve had them out on my steps here (along with a zillion other postcards campaigns) and there are about six packets left that just aren’t getting taken. Is anyone interested in covering shipping so I can send you one or two? I recognize that this is not super cost efficient for you, so no worries if no. (I’d offer to cover shipping costs but my husband is about to be layed off, soooo…can’t.)

One bonus, though—they come with address labels so should go pretty fast!

The second thing is that there’s a new episode of the Defending Democracy podcast out in which Marc Elias and his co-host and Paige speak with Anderson Clayton, the chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party! They talk about House Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), the looming veto-overrides, redistricting and the party’s push to include youth voters! Should be good!
