Hey, Team NC!
Iâve got two North Carolina-related events for youâboth will be stellar. And I have a new postcarding campaign to share!
First, tomorrow Airlift will present "North Carolina: Turning Purple to Blue," featuring the dynamic new NC Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton. You'll also hear from Airlift Partners Down Home NC and Carolina Federation about how we can help keep the governorship Blue, break the GOP supermajority in the state legislature, and add North Carolina's electoral votes to keep Joe Biden in the White House.
Although this is a fundraiser, you need not make a donation to attend.
Join them online, Thursday, May 23, 5:00 PT / 8:00 ET by signing up here.
Next, on Tuesday, May 28, 7:30 pm ET All in For North Carolina is having a fundraiser you wonât want to missâŠbecause the keynote speaker is Heather Cox Richardson! Additional Speakers are:
Rep. Robert Reives (Democratic Leader, North Carolina House of Representatives) and Daniel Squadron (Co-Founder & Executive Director, The States Project). Itâs going to be excellent.
A donation of any amount will enable you to attend this event. Upon donating, you will be directed to Mobilize, where you must register in order to attend.
Finally, Reclaim Our Vote has launched a North Carolina âpledge to voteâ NC campaign. These cards will go out to Black and Brown voters who are the target of voter suppression in the state. In order to write with Reclaim Our Vote / Center For Common Ground you have to order their postcards and watch a short training video. You can access everything you need here.
OK! More soon. THANKS FOR ALL YOUâRE DOING!1
