I’ve got a super-cool North Carolina-related activity for you, and an event you should consider attending if you can!
First, the activity:
Big Tent USA is launching a letter writing campaign with VoteRiders in North Carolina. Confusion about voter ID easily turns into disenfranchisement. Your efforts will help make sure eligible voters have the ID and information they need to cast a ballot that counts.
All you’ll need to do this project are a printer, paper, envelopes, stamps and a couple of pens. Big Tent will give you all the instructions and support you need. It’s easy!
If you’re ready to take action, please fill your request for letters here, so they can get you started ASAP. As we are approaching the deadline to register for the North Carolina primary election (Friday, February 9th), they ask that you mail your letters no later than Friday, February 2nd.
Second, the event!
Neighbors on Call invites you to “NCDP’s Roadmap to 2030” on Wed., Feb. 7 @ 7:30pm. This event will feature five AMAZING speakers—see flyer below.

Dang, have a conflict at that time! But it should be good, NOC is a great group and our new party leadership is excellent. Just FYI in my Dem precinct we have been sending out postcards to voters, targeting especially those with a history of sporadic voting. Want you to know I got ideas about how to make the cards more visually appealing from that postcard photo you pasted into the newsletter last week. So thanks for that!
